All About Angela
Angela Sauer is an MFA-educated actor. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. She will be playing the role of "Holly" in season 3, episode 6 of Masters of Sex on Showtime. In summer 2015, she's working with the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival in Thousand Oaks, California, where she will be appearing as Mariana in Measure for Measure and Queen Elizabeth in Richard III.
Earlier in 2015, Angela played Suzanne, fiancée of Figaro, in "Figaro" by Charles Morey at A Noise Within from March 1 - May 10, 2015. She simultaneously produced the West Coast Premiere of "Occupation" by Ken Ferrigni at Sacred Fools Theatre (where she recently became a company member).
Since moving to Los Angeles, Angela has worked with 8 theatre companies, trained with 3 improv schools, joined 1 sketch troupe, and has become the reigning champion of LA's Manhattan Monologue Slam.
Previously, she spent 10 months in New York City. During that time, she had roles on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Pan Am, and acted in two national commercials, two plays, a web series, a television pilot, and a short film which she also wrote and produced.
Angela graduated from the prestigious Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training in Sarasota, Florida in May 2011 with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Acting. The Conservatory has recently been named one of the Top 25 Drama Schools in the World by The Hollywood Reporter, and is one of the top 10 programs in the USA according to the U.S. News and World Report. Angela was an Associate Company Member of the Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida for the 2010/2011 Season.
